A paper on quantifying causal influences within a causal model. Both papers use it to define the teleological fraction of a region, the share of causal influence on its outcomes that runs through goal-directed processes, measured as the outcome variance lost when their arrows are cut. Teleological saturation (C2) is the state in which that share dominates.
