An information-theoretic model of steganography. Both papers cite it, with Ker et al., for the limit that over n events a hidden hand can shift the total by only about the square root of n unseen, so large effects show in aggregate. This is one of the two limits behind teleological saturation (C2) and its aggregate tests (prediction 11).
