A paper presenting Voyager, an open-ended embodied agent built on large language models. The companion cites it as an example of omnidirectional heredity (P5): Voyager, playing Minecraft, wrote what it learned into a library of skills from which its later behavior was assembled. It shows knowledge acquired during life written back into a heritable description.
