Key Questions on Energy and AI

The International Energy Agency's 2026 report Key Questions on Energy and AI. The companion cites it for data centers drawing 485 TWh in 2025, 17% more than the year before, on capital spending by large technology firms of more than $400 billion. These figures support premise 2 of the long arc (C3) and the computational ratio in Companion Fig. 10b and Flagship Fig. 5d.
